  7. Are you a domain name registrar?

  8. If you register a new domain name for me, who owns it?
Technically, domain names are not owned by anyone. Paying the domain registration fee entitles you to license the rights to use the domain name for a specific time typically one to 2 years). To retain these rights, you need to pay your domain name registration renewal fee when the registration term expires. Therefore, should you ever switch hosting company, you will still own the rights for that domain name.

  9. Is there a limit to the length of my domain name?
The limit to domain names can be up to 67 alphanumeric characters and hyphens. This includes the .com, .net, .org, etc. extension. In addition, domain names cannot begin or end with a hyphen.  .biz and .info domain names must have at least four characters (not including the extension).

  10. How long does it take for my domain name to be reached throughout the world?
New domain names can be reached within about 24 hours from the time they were registered.  Transfer domain names can be reached within about 24 hours from the time your domain name registration record was modified, to reflect the General Hosting DNS servers.  As Internet Service Providers (ISPs) around the world must update their DNS to recognize your domain name, the delay varies. Major ISPs update their DNS more frequently, so their subscribers will reach your domain name first.  Smaller ISPs update their DNS less frequently, so it may take few hours longer. If your domain name is not reachable within 48 to 78 hours, please contact support.
